Tuition does not cover the expenses of our school. We have been able to operate through the contributions of many supporters. The annual cost of the ACE curriculum for one student at MCCS is $2500. We set the annual tuition at $250 so as not to exclude the community we are trying to reach. This leaves a $2250 annual need per student that must come from the contributions of others who partner with us and share our mission and vision.

Likewise, all of our teachers work for a low annual salary of under $20,000 per year. They know that they will not be paid unless money comes into the Teacher�s Fund, and we offer no guarantees of fixed pay. A few of our teachers refuse to take any salary and instead volunteer all of their time.

Some of our students have gone on to college or have plans to do so. Our school board has set up a scholarship fund that allows them to receive up to $2,000 for college tuition once they qualify for the scholarship. The scholarship money is disbursed as it becomes available. If you wish to donate to the scholarship fund please mark your donations �Mount Clare Scholarship Fund�. If donations are made by PayPal please email us indicating the date you donated and the amount you wish to go to the scholarship fund.

Contributions to MCCS are greatly appreciated. Checks may be made payable to "Mount Clare Christian School." We are very aware of the importance of prayer in this ministry. We find that our students face a tremendous battle as they enter high school, and must fight against a culture of "giving up." Contact us and we will send you a prayer guide with a list of current prayer requests. Please pray for us and intercede for our students.

We also need workers. We are looking for committed believers with Bachelors degrees who have a heart for inner-city ministry and enjoy working with kids. Formal teacher training or education is not required.

Our school could not function properly without volunteers. Volunteers needs include tutoring, building maintenance, office work, and other activities. Note: All volunteers must be fingerprinted and undergo a background check.
